The first part of Ichigo’s trainig begins, and it’s in a dollhouse.
—————————————————————————————-
Ichigo’s first stage training is in Riruka’s cardboard box house. This is her fullbring, Dollhouse. She can move people or objects in and out of objects that she thinks are cute. And with her ‘permission’, Ichigo is transported inside the house. He meets a weird little pig teddy bear which he must defeat.
He runs dodging it at first and then gets an explanation of Riruka’s Fullbring again. So, Ichigo just needs to use Fullbring to be able to defeat the pink pig teddy bear. After some more dodging and running the pig talks and tells Ichigo to start fighting. Apparently inside the it is some random scary person and he’ll be stuck in the pig forever if he can’t kill Ichigo in 15 minutes. And we’re done with explanation so Ichigo is left to his own devices.
Ichigo thinks back to all he’s heard about Fullbring. He remembers Ginjo’s pendant, which seems like an attachment, so he tries to think of an item he’s attached to.
Chad returns, criticises that they’ve started the training so early and opens the lid of the cardboard house to tell Ichigo that his substitute soul reaper pass is the only chance he has of bringing out his fullbring. Ichigo had just arrived at the same conclusion.
But suddenly a bell sounds and 15 minutes is up, so crazy beast mode activates turning the normal sized pig into a huge multi eyed monster. But there’s more, if something can last 30 minutes in the box, then it can come out and not before unless they wish to be burnt away by the flames of time. This is Giriko’s fullbring, Time Tells No Lies.
Back in the box, Ichigo continues to evade the pig whilst thinking of how to bring out the soul in his substitute soul reaper badge. Chad then tells Ichigo to think back to his pride. And just with that, his badge starts to glow black.
Thoughts:
Well, throwing Ichigo into the deep end and have him figure things out as he goes is all fine and good as he is a very Mary Sue character and can pick up things in seconds. But what doesn’t help is the fact that you give him no idea of what to do and a time limit on when the average bad guy becomes a monstrous bad guy.
A hint or two along the way would’ve sped things up, as I don’t believe Riruka knows nothing of how to get fullbring, but luckily Chad was there to help, and he gave much more than a hint… They need to remember he’s just a normal human right now, a huge monstrous pig can and probably will kill him if he didn’t have his amazing stamina and reflexs.
I rather like Riruka’s ability, though it seems more of a joke ability. Although if you put all your enemies into dolls and have them drink tea with you, then that’s a pretty scary ability.
Don’t think there was much else to say apart from Ichigo’s fullbring looks interesting. It’s just black lines coming out of his badge, are they some sort of blades I wonder. That’s the usual thing, or maybe shooting out lasers, add a bit of sci-fi into it.
I’m gonna finish my thoughts there, too tired… should be sleeping for my lecture tomorrow morning… *sigh* the joys of so much damn work. Oh well, off to bed.
