Yes, it’s me again. And yes, it’s another BlazBlue theme. You know damn well that I spoil you with these.

When the original BlazBlue was released I played it, loved it, and then got the OST album. This is the song I love most on that album, the battle theme when Litchi Faye-Ling fights Arakune. ‘Sure’, I hear you cry, ‘but it’s an instrumental, and not J-Pop enough to be a SOTW.’ And I reply: ‘Yes, I know. And SOTWs aren’t meant to be just J-Pop. Plus, it’s by Daisuke fricking Ishiwatari!’

Okay, I’m sorry, but that paragraph sort of got away from me. I was literally having a conversation with myself…

Anyway, here we go: Musical Perfection.

So anyway, it is true that this is an instrumental. But the guitar line displays itself as a pseudo-vocal line, so to speak. And then, BlazBlue had another album, full of songs that were given a little lyrical treatment. To my delight, Weak Executioner found it’s place there, given some pretty awesome vocals by Jamison Boaz.

So enjoy. And why not try BlazBlue out? It has good music. That pretty much sold me on every single game that’s been released.
