So here we go then, Fall 2012 anime. All starting within a week or two I believe as Summer animes wrap up. With Vanguard and Sword Art Online looking to continue, I’ll pick up one new series to blog. The most likely one will of course be the new Bakuman season, but as I’ve said before blogging that is weird because I know the outcome having read the manga. I’m hoping for another one to interest me just as much if not more to blog instead. As usual, I’m listing five or so of the anime I’m particularly interested in and we’ll see from there.
As you all know my job searching’s keeping me busy, so it’s likely I’m going to be missing days now and then. Unfortunately it seems like all my other bloggers are also too busy with their own things to blog too. So it’s likely I’ll have several days without blogs, but don’t worry, even if everyone leaves, it’s my blog and I’m staying for the long run.
Bakuman Season 3
Second sequel to the Bakuman anime.
Thoughts:
Like I said, the one I’m mainly looking forward to as it’s the one I know best and the one I’m most likely to blog if none of the other animes are as good. Don’t think this anime needs any introduction, especially going into its third season.
Will I blog this? – Very Likely
Kamisama Kiss (Kamisama Hajimemashita)
About a troubled girl who is now homeless after his father ran from debt. She saves a man from a dog one day and is offered his home. She accepts without hesitation but doesn’t realise that she’s also taking over his job as the local deity.
Thoughts:
Sounds like some good comedy, doesn’t seem like it’s got a serious storyline or goal to reach so I’m mainly looking for the comedy aspects. But of course I’m also looking at the romance part too, and hopefully enjoy some interesting adventures or antics, or whatever it can bring.

Sukitte ii nay o
A 16 year old girl named Mei Tachibana has never had friends until she accidently kicks a popular boy in school Yamato Kurosawa. Since then a weird romance and numerous friendships bloom.
Thoughts:
A romantic slice of life involving a group of newly made friends. Definitely sounds like the laid back type of anime I’m interested in. Again, I don’t see a serious storyline developing, maybe in the romance, but probably nothing overly serious.

Shin Sekai Yori
A millennia from now the world has become ruled by people who have a type of powerful telekinesis. Our five protagonists Saki, Satoru, Maria, Mamoru and Shun live in a tranquil water based utopia. After a fateful event the five realises the true nature of their world and throw themselves into a life threatening adventure to protect a world falling into chaos.
Thoughts:
Probably the only ‘serious’ anime I’m looking at this season. Well from the synopsis it sounds like a serious plotline. Anything involving a life threatening adventure is serious to me. I’m hoping this will be the anime to rival Bakuman in terms of my enjoyment of a good storyline. Not sure if this adventure will involve some sort of battling or not, but either way I think it sounds good. Always do like a series with an aspect of the apocalypse, adds a weird realistic suspense, as all you see in the real world is how people think it’s going to end, though that might be just me especially looking for them. Which is also why I’m looking into laid back animes, but gotta have some story now and then, to have something that I’d want to find out what happens next in the next week.
Will I blog this? – Maybe
K
An original anime project directed by Nakanishi Gou. Produced by GoHands, and with GoRA Project group.
Thoughts:
I’m hoping this one will be a good surprise as I actually have no idea what it’s about and have only seen the character designs. It was recommended to me by a friend who somehow knows it and said it looks quite good. Lots of bishounen around is always good. I never ignore a good friend’s recommendations, so hope it’s a good one. If it is I could end up blogging this.
Will I blog this? – No idea

I’m really looking forward to Kamisama Hajimemashita. My hope is that it will be comedy-focussed. The trailer for it looked very good.
The trailer for K was very very impressive. I don’t know what the actual story will be like, but they certainly have piqued my curiosity.

I just got around to looking at the trailer for K and yeah, I agree, that battle animation looks lovely. But yeah, no idea what it’s about, however bishounen battling is always good in my book.
Kamisama Hajimashita does looks very cheery and comedy focused, sure it’s got a depressing foundation that starts the story, but form what I see it’s probably going to be comedy and a lot of fun. Though that’s what I’m hoping for too.
