I’ve noticed that my SOTWs are usually Yu-Gi-Oh! or game themes. But not this time! I’ve gone back to some classic anime of yesteryear to discover some classic gems of Japanese music.
Like this, for instance.
I first came across Witch Hunter Robin back in 2007, when we in England had an anime channel. The channel lasted just under a year, but introduced me to some good series: like s-CRY-ed, Vision Of Escaflowne and, as I’ve stated, Witch Hunter Robin.
From what I remember (as I badly need to watch this series again) it was a pretty good series. As I’ve stated multiple times before, themes make a series to me, and the opening and ending theme to WHR were excellent. Both were by the singer Bana, and this song – “Shell” – was the opening theme.
Please, take some time to listen. Then maybe take a look at the series when you have time. Enjoy~!

I really liked the music to this show, including “Shell”, and the BGM (Taku Iwasaki). The series itself was pretty cool, especially if you like the gothic flair they gave the two main characters. It is a supernatural / sci-fi / cop drama, which is a pretty good combination, in my opinion.
