Ui’s preparing everything for Yui’s fieldtrip, as she’s tucked up nicely in bed. What a kind sister, Yui’s so lazy.

Next up, Yui and gang are on a train on the way to their field trip. They want to take a picture on the train but are refused by Sawa-chan… who then joins them in the photo. They pass by Mt Fuji, ah they’re heading to Kyoto, oh and Ritsu and Yui are acting like children, not that that’s anything new.

Yui thinks Kyoto tower looks like a radish. Anyway, their first stop is Kinkaku-ji and there we find out that Tsumugi is quite knowledgeable on history and tea ceremony manners, though I suppose that was expected.

Next up, they go to Kitano tenman-gu, there they meet Nodoka who’s the one with the information this time and tells them a little more about the place. As Sawa-can is buying a marriage wishing plaque (I think that’s what they are) Yui and gang repeatedly pass by behind her making her suffer.

Now they go to their hotel after a long tiring day. They eat some snacks during a game of some sort of monopoly and are unable to finish their dinner.

In the bath, Mio and Tsumugi compliment on each other’s hair and Ritsu wonders if she should grow hers. I personally like long hair, I can’t imagine mine being short, then again it does get annoying at times. Anyway, yeah, Ritsu thinks that it’ll make her look more lady-like and Yui just sniggers.

After the bath they have a pillow fight, which was cut short as Sawa-chan walks in and gets hit as well. But they continue on after Sawa-chan leaves. After that, Mio reluctantly switches the lights off and then Ritsu randomly says scary words…

Next day, Ritsu and Yui completely disregard their touring plan, and instead, go to a monkey park… which is on top of a mountain with a nice view of Kyoto, they also feed monkeys.

Anyway, almost six, they’re suppose to get back. They decide to take the train, but get lost on the way to the station. They meet Nodoka’s group, who is also lost… Anyway, somehow they find their way back, after Mio gets a laughing fit from hearing the word ‘skull’.

Later that night, they invite Sawa-chan in for a chat, who ends up going on and on making them regret it.

On the train back, Yui and gang seems to have so much energy left, whilst everyone else is sleeping or too tired.

Well, I must say this episode was a very knowledgeable one, especially for someone like me who’s interested in Japanese culture and history. But that was mainly the first half, the second half was just more gags and funny antics. There were quite a few parts of this episode that I liked, Yui thinking Kyoto tower looks like a Radish, the kansai dialect by Ritsu was a big fail, also Nodoka getting lost made me laugh a lot, seeing how she seems to be the reliable one. Then there’s Sawa-chan’s rants and Mio’s random fits of laughter. Was an interesting episode to say the least. Again, no real storyline development, but ah well, a good laugh’s enough for me.
