Kyousuke is playing one of Kirino’s Eroge games on her laptop. Suddenly his mother calls him as she enters the room. Panicking, he quickly presses the escape key and the screen returns to the desktop. Yoshino accuses him of looking up porn sites on the laptop; he denies it as he shows the screen showing nothing but the desktop wallpaper. He then asks why she knows about him looking at porn sites. Yoshino tells him that it is gross. At the supermarket, Kyousuke runs into Manami; who is surprised to see him. She asks him what he is having for dinner; he tells her that he is having curry yet again and wishes that his mother could cook other things like Manami does. He then asks Manami that when they are off, his mum is out and asks if Manami could come over and cook lunch; she agrees. On the day, Manami comes to his house. Kirino comes down the stairs and sees Manami. Kirino pulls an angry face before storming back to her room.

Kyousuke is called to the park by Kirino’s friend Ayase. She explains that she needs his help. She wants to buy a present for Kirino. Kyousuke tells her that he won’t be any use as he doesn’t know what a middle school student would want; he also adds that whatever Ayase buys would good anyway as Kirino and her are close friends. However, Ayase tells him that it won’t be the thing she wants the most. Ayase wants get her something related to her hobby, but still hasn’t accepted Kirino’s hobby. She recounts back when Kirino showed her Meruru collection and was a bit indirectly rude and Kirino would speak to her after that. Ayase wants to make up for her indiscretion by getting something for related to hobby. Kyousuke agrees to help her.

Kyousuke comes home and is greeted by Kirino, who then sighs by the sight of him. She tells him that she waiting for something but won’t tell Kyousuke what it is. She seems to be restless for the last couple of days. He recounts that Kirino has told him that the next life counselling session would be the last one. However, she hasn’t spoken to him since then. He tells her that her lunch is in the fridge but he is completely ignored with her complaining about other people playing some game before her. Suddenly there the doorbell goes and Kirino jumps up excited. She has picked up her parcel and she opens it. Kyousuke asks her what she had got in the post. She tells him it is an Eroge game, which she hugs while giggling.

Kirino is at the publishers, who have released her novel that she had written. She is given several piles of fan mail from her publisher which makes her very happy. The publisher also tells her that another batch of her book is being printed. She then leans over to Kirino and whispers to her. Kirino screams and announces to the entire room that her book is rumoured to be turned into an anime series. Later, Kirino meets with Bajeena and Kuroneko in the cafe. Bajeena congratulates her on book becoming an anime. However, Kuroneko is bit jealous of her achievement. Bajeena asks her why she had called them to meet her. Kirino tells them that she has a meeting with the anime staff today and has invited them to tag along with her. She tells them that she wants their support by their knowledge of designers and studios. Bajeena and Kuroneko accept her invitation and go with her to the meeting.

Kyousuke returns home and enters the living room. The place is dark and he assumes the house is empty. He switched on the lights to find Kuroneko in his living room. It turns out that Kuroneko was invited around to watch a screening of Meruru. Kyousuke asks her why they are having a screening at his home. She recollects the events that took place three days ago. Kirino is complaining that Kuroneko has only watched six episodes. Kuroneko tells her she has other things to do than watch it and she finds it boring. Kirino and Kuroneko start arguing; Bajeena intervenes and suggest that they have a screening of both animes. Bajeena adds that if they both commentate on the animes they may see it in a different perspective. After the explanation, Kyousuke asks Kuroneko where Kirino is. She replies that she maybe in her room. Kyousuke places a cup of tea and some snacks on the coffee table and figures out they both had an argument.
