As the Amakusa stand between the injured nun and the rest of the Agnese Forces, Saiji gives a batch of paper to Lucia and advises her to use this as an escape pod to take Angelene to safety. Lucia then goes to Angelene’s side as to see that she is alright. Touma then stands up to tell Lucia to maintain her resolve as he is also willing to fight alongside them in spite of the odds. As Lucia carries her injured partner, she joins Touma, Orsola and the Amakusa on their push to Agnese’s location. Meanwhile, Biagio is with Agnese and complains that the attacking forces are trying to stop them just for destroy one city. He turns to Agnese and tells her that he will crush her. Saiji sends Touma, Index and Orsola off to save Agnese, while the Amakusas hold off the attacking nuns. Touma, Index and Orsola arrive on another ship, with Orsola wondering that no one is around. Index suggests it is a magic controlled ship. Index tries to open the door, but Touma opens it instead using his Imagine Breaker. Index tells him that the ship has a magical structure. Just then, several Ice Knights rise out of the deck and attack them. Touma wants to attack them but is dragged into the ship by Index.

I like a Pizza with extra cheese and mushrooms

Running through the corridor, Touma stops and tells them to carry on. He charges the attacking knights, but then opens another route by neutralising the wall next to him and the knights’ chase after him. He then reaches the theatre area and he destroys another knight. He then gets a phone call. It is Index who asks him if casting “Rosary of the Appointed Time” is needed to cast “The Queen of the Adriatic Sea”, as she has no knowledge of it after consulting the grimoires inside her head. She then suggests it maybe a code understood by the Roman Catholics. Suddenly, the floor above Touma falls towards him and he quickly neutralises it. After the dust settles Biagio appears and they fight, with Biagio dropping giant crosses on Touma. Touma escapes down one floor and into the next room, but is trapped by Biagio. Biagio stops Touma from moving by pinning him down with magic from a cross. He then drops several giant crosses on Touma, crushing him and then leaves.

If that is the ball, how big is the goal...

Orsola and Index arrive at a large door. Index realises that magical defences are woven into the door. Suddenly they surrounded by many ice knights. Index chants to make the knights focus on her. She tells Orsola to save Agnese and heads off, with the knights following her. Agnese leans against the sphere when the door opens to reveal Orsola. Agnese asks why Orsola is doing here. Orsola tells her that she came to rescue her after realising Agnese intentions of sacrificing herself to save the others. They came back after learning the truth. Agnese questions Orsola’s resolve, even after the situation over the Book of Law. Orsola tells her that she doesn’t know, but knows that Lucia and Angelene wanted to save her. Biagio appears telling them that his plan is not changed even if Agnese dies, however it would be an inconvenience to find another suitor. He tells Orsola that he hates troublesome things, as Orsola notices some blood on his robe. He tells that he got rid of that troublesome thing, making Orsola realise that he got rid of Touma. Biagio tells Orsola that he will cast “The Queen of the Adriatic Sea”. According to him, the spell has a built-in lock-on mechanism that makes the target Venice constantly. However, the plan is to undo this mechanism; which the “Rosary of the Appointed Time” is needed for. He reveals that his target is Academy City as its destruction will spell the end for everything related to science in the whole world.

He has a flabby cheek

Orsola attacks Biagio, but is knocked down. Biagio opens a hole in the sphere and tells Agnese it maybe early but to begin the spell. Agnese tells Orsola to back off as if she resists she may die, Orsola tells she can’t do that. Biagio then attacks by throwing several of his crosses. However they are stopped by Agnese, who has picked up her Lotus Wand and stops them. She then activates the Lotus Wand and prepares to fight Biagio, after gaining confidence in standing up to him. However, Biagio has unleashed the spell that makes them feel heavy and Orsola and Agnese fall to the ground. Biagio tells them that only someone stronger can defeat him. Just then Touma shows up and dispels the magic with his Imagine Breaker. Touma charges Biagio, with him trying to activate the spell. Touma neutralises it quickly and swiftly punches him, knocking him to the ground. Touma asks Agnese how to destroy the “The Queen of the Adriatic Sea”. She tells him that destroying the room they are in is irreplaceable. Suddenly Agnese collapses in pain. Biagio has activated the spell, but this time it has become a self-destruct. Orsola reports that if the spell gets out of control, it could have a blast radius of 10km with the possibility of affecting the shores. Touma tells Orsola to go with Agnese and to take the Amakusas with her. He will stay and stop Biagio. Orsola leaves and Touma faces Biagio.

Touma your pizza has gone cold and mouldy

Biagio tells Touma that he has already accepted his death as long as he can take Touma with him. Touma attacks with Biagio unleashing several magical attacks. Touma is knocked back, but continues his attack. Instead he uses his left hand to punch the cross out of Biagio’s hand. He then punches Biagio in the chest with his right-hand; the Imagine Breaker. Biagio falls to the ground and the magical surroundings disappear. The room begins to shake and break up and the ship begins to sink. Touma is found floating in the water, he is then transferred to hospital. He wakes up as he is being wheeled by hospital staff. Index is next to him, who tells him he has a phone call and hands him the phone. It is the Doctor from Academy City, who tells him to come back to Academy City. Touma tells him that he only spent one day in Italy. However the Doctor tells him that he doesn’t want an outside hospital to treat Touma. He also tells him that a girl came to visit, to tell him that when he gets back, he will receive his punishment for the Daihasei. Touma realises the girl is Mikoto and screams that he doesn’t want to go back.

Go on you know you want to Kaori

Meanwhile Kaori is on the phone to Motoharu about the incident. He tells her that serving Touma for a day; dressed in a maid outfit won’t come close to repaying him for what he did to help the Amakusas out. Motoharu tells her that he will lend her an outfit, which she rejects angrily and hangs up. She then imagines herself in a maid outfit, when the doorbell rings. She answers the door; it is Orsola who tells her that she is back and has unfortunately picked up some extra baggage along the way. She steps aside to reveal Agnese; who is blushing, bows her head to Kaori. Meanwhile the Roman Pope is walking with an ugly person. She hands him a document and tells him to sign it. She then leaves as the Pope reads it. The document reads to investigate Touma and if he is an enemy of God, he is to be eliminated.

The final episode to this story arc and we now move on to the next one. Shame that Touma’s holiday is cut short but that the result of his misfortune. Can’t wait until he gets back to Academy City and see what Mikoto has plan for him. There was no OP theme to this episode, but the ED theme was played during the final scenes of the episode. Finally I manage to get through blogging this episode, as you can see there was a lot of information to process. We are not told what happened to Lucia and Angelene; I hope they are ok and they are somewhere safe. Hopefully, we may see them again and I am looking forward to it.
