Ginjo Kugo makes his presense know whilst another mysterious figure slashes down Ishida.

———————————————————————————————–

Ichigo joins the fight after Ishida takes the first swing and then gets into an argument with Ishida whilst fending off everyone with ease. Ichigo’s boss comes by to clear them out and hauls Ichigo away.

Her name is Unagiya Ikumi and she owns an ‘odd request’ store. In her ‘office’, she has Ichigo tied up and gives him a bunch of requests he needs to do. But they hear a knock and the guy from yesterday who was robbed appears. He holds up a cup ramen and asks if Ichigo wants some.

Back at school Orihime’s worried that Ichigo’s been abducted, but Ishida tells her it’s his boss from work. Also it seems that Ishida sensed faint signs of spiritual pressure around Ichigo earlier. All the while, another person watches from a nearby tree.

At the shop again, the ramen guy says he is a customer, even though he’s just eating a bowl of ramen and drinking tea. He asks for a job to be done and places a picture of Isshin on the table.

Elsewhere at Urahara’s shop, Karin visits.

Ramen guy wants a background check on Isshin, so Ichigo says that Isshin’s his dad and he’ll answer anything. But the guy poses an odd question and asks him if he knows everything about his dad and about his entire family. He tells him to go to Urahara’s shop as he’ll find something of interest there.

Karin buys various ghost and hollow related objects saying that it’s her time to protect Ichigo as he’s always been protecting them and leave the shop. Ichigo sees her and wonders what’s up. Ramen guy comes next to him and warns him of Urahara as well and tells him to act now to save his family. His name is Ginjo Kugo. He hands Ichigo a card and leaves.

Ichigo’s now home, and Orihime drops by with a tray of unsold bread. So Ichigo invites her into his room.

Ishida walks about outside Ichigo’s house and having sensed Orhime inside, he decides not to bother entering. But he suddenly senses something and see’s someone walking on the electricity lines. As soon as the guy disappears, Ishida gives chase.

The chase continues with the other guy accelerating but when Ishida finally catches up, the guy turns around and strikes.

Ichigo stares at the card that Ginjo handed him and hears an ambulance outside.

The episode ends as we witness a scene of Ishida lying in a pool of blood.

Thoughts:

Well well, things are getting interesting again. Building up the tension for this arc at a nice pace. Putting question after question on our minds, that’s how a good mystery develops. So at this time I don’t mind Bleach’s tendency to have relatively slow episodes. They start annoying me when the battles take forever to finish.

But anyway, the main question here is what this Ginjo guy is here for, and what’s up with his group. And what that other random guy leaping across all the electricity lines wants. With Ginjo’s big smile I think he’s more than likely up to no good, and the other guy slashed down Ishida so he’s obviously going to be a bad guy, and a strong bad guy. As Ishida said, the guy’s most likely not human as he can run that fast. Although shouldn’t the fact that he can practically walk on air give away that he’s not human? Not the fact that he’s running that fast, considering he’s barely running. But then again, Ishida’s human, so it could very well be another human, with some sort of abilities. What abilities? That is the question.
