Episode 3: The Dogfight For You

Bit chilly isn't it?

Arashiko’s friend Yumi has arrived and she runs up to Arashiko and hugs her. She then notices Tarou standing next to her and confronts him. She remembers Tarou from Middle School as the perverted masochist. She wonders if Arashiko’s condition has been cured, though Arashiko replies not as yet. Yumi strangles Tarou and tells him to stay away from Arashiko; Tarou’s masochism is set off. She then drops him and then states that Arashiko will be transferring to the same high school as her, which comes as a shock to both Arashiko and Tarou.

Told you he was better grilled

At school, Tarou is being grilled (literally) by Mio. She asks Tarou if he is ok with Arashiko transferring. She also tells him that she knows about him texting her as she had left her in his care and that he is supposed to look out for her. At the end of school, Tarou is following Arashiko and he reflects on the time at the zoo with Arashiko. Arashiko explains that in Middle School, Yoshioka; the jerk that hit Arashiko which sparked her Androphobia was spreading rumours about her being a slut. This made people around her look at her with cold eyes, she then breaks down in tears. After the reflection, Arashiko is seen picking up and stroking a cat when Yumi arrives to pick her up and take her home. Yumi then tells her that she would be attending her Club tomorrow to see what is like and also see Mio.

I said smile not dribble!

At school Yumi becomes in awe in seeing Mio and states that she is cute. Yumi then sneaks behind Mio and starts giving her a massage. The massage is the unique Mamiya-Style which Mio is unable to escape from. Arashiko tells Tarou that she is unable to stop Yumi once she begins massaging. Michiru tell her that she doesn’t want her to stop and then starts taking pictures of Mio in her compromised position. Mio begs Tarou to help her, he comes over and Yumi punches him. He spins round; masochism in full effect, he grabs Arashiko on her shoulder. This then sets her off and she punches Tarou and kicks him into the cupboards. After, Arashiko realises what she has done and apologises to Tarou while Yumi looks on in disgust. Yumi tells Mio that since Arashiko will be transferring schools she would be quitting the Second Volunteering club; with Tarou presence, it would be worse. Mio doesn’t agree and tells her that she would cure Arashiko of her condition.

Hello Nurse I hope that needle isn't for me

That night Arashiko is walking home after buying some stuff from the shop when she bumps into Yoshioka, who smirks which makes Arashiko very afraid and scared. Across the road, Tatsukichi sees what’s happening. At school, Arashiko is absent, Tarou and Mio are concerned. Tatsukichi tells Tarou that he saw her last night and said she was fine. At the club room, Michiru also tells Tarou and Mio (in nurse outfit!) that she tried ringing Arashiko, but got no answer. Tarou tries again but then realises something and runs out the room. Running down the road he rings Tatsukichi, who tells him that he saw Arashiko with another guy and thinks it might be Yoshioka. Tarou arrives at Arashiko’s house and enters. He finds Arashiko in her room in a lock state of fear. Tarou approaches her and ends up getting a slap for his troubles.

He is definitely barking mad

Tarou is in masochist mode and dreams of being a dog to Arashiko. Arashiko then realises it is Tarou and that he would not strike back even if a girl hit him. Arashiko tells Tarou that she bumped into Yoshioka last night and he talked to her. When she got home, she was plagued by calls from him telling her not to tell anyone about what happen between them. This made her switch off her phone when the people who were worried have been calling her. She then tells Tarou that she wants to disappear, which angers Tarou. Outside Tarou calls Mio and tells her that Arashiko was at home and then hangs up.

Extremely satisfying

Tarou returns to school and confronts Yoshioka, who is hitting on another girl on the sofa. Tarou tells him that he knows about the threats he made to Arashiko and tells him that is unforgivable. He then starts a fight with him, with Tarou getting mostly beat up. Yoshioka continues to punch Tarou, but Tarou does not go down; pushed on by on what he did to Arashiko. Mio approaches with a bat in her hand. Tarou and Yoshioka unleash a powerful punch at the same time, Tarou asks God to help him make his punch reach Yoshioka. Mio throws the bat and hits Tarou in the leg, which sends him down avoiding Yoshioka’s punch. In an excellent position, Tarou punches Yoshioka twice and knocks him down. Tarou turns round and sees Mio who tells him that she only helped him a little bit as seeing him he was serious in helping Arashiko. He almost passes out, but awakens and sees Michiru and Yumi standing there. Yumi is shocked to see the result of what Tarou did to Yoshioka. Michiru takes a picture and states that Tarou would do anything if he puts his mind to it. Yoshioka awakens just to see Yumi attack him.

New student, uh oh..

That night Tarou returns to Arashiko and gives her a picture of Yoshioka in a compromised position. Tarou tells her that he made him promise not to call or threaten Arashiko anymore; otherwise the photo would be distributed, Arashiko cries tears of joy and thanks Tarou. At school, Arashiko apologises to the rest of the club and tells Yumi that she wants to stay so that even she is still has Androphobia, she wants to get to know Mio, Tarou and Michiru a bit more; Yumi agrees stating that she has changed. The next day, Tarou and Arashiko are walking to school and are greeted by Yumi who has transferred to their school so she can be close to Arashiko. However, she hasn’t approved of Tarou and attacks him with the Mamiya-Style massage, which he enjoys.

The story of Arashiko’s Androphobia is resolved finally. I hate Yoshioka and guys who use girls in such a way. It would have been cool if Tarou knew some form of martial arts and then he could have really kicked Yoshioka’ ass, still he did in the end. Not a funny episode as much as it focuses more so on Arashiko painful memory than Tarou’s weird problem. Also Yumi’s idea of transferring schools does not solve Arashiko’s problem, it is just like running away until it catches up to you, you got to face your problems otherwise they would eventually break you down. I hated Yumi for that, as the problem would still be there and it would probably get worse for Arashiko. So anyway, I think the series should focus now on Tarou and hopefully get a lot funnier.
