Episode 6: My Mayhem-Filled Home

He is going to drown

Tarou is asleep when his sister is watching him with loving eyes, until she can’t take it anymore and tries to kiss him, but she is interrupted by Tarou’s phone ringing. She picks it up and is shocked to find a message from Arashiko to Tarou about studying for a test. This also shocks their mother as well who just so happens to appear out of nowhere. They search more of Tarou’s phone to find several more messages from Arashiko. They now believe that Arashiko is trying to steal Tarou away from them. So they both plan to get rid of Arashiko and keep her away from Tarou so they can have him to themselves.

Chin up!

Later, Mio is using military-style training to cure Tarou. Tarou runs through a gauntlet of explosions until he reaches Mio. Mio catches him staring at her and dispatches him with a kick and he lands into the middle of a minefield. He imagines if reached Mio and that she would massage him, with her foot. Tarou fast-crawls his way to her and she kicks him into the river. Mio then tells him, for his actions he has to do 1,000 push-ups. However these are not ordinary push-ups as Mio sits on top of him while he does them. However, Tarou gets other ideas as Mio is sitting on him; he imagines it as if she was riding a horse. Tarou’s masochist face is on and he gallops off with Mio on his back, who whips him for being an ass (no joke intended here, but maybe a pun).

He likes women in uniform

Later, Tarou is taken to a wooden cabin and fears that he is in for more training by Mio. However, Mio calls for a medic and Arashiko comes in wearing a nurse’s outfit. Tarou thinks that she was forced to wear it by Michiru, who is offended by the statement. Arashiko admits that she wanted to wear the costume as she loves nurse’s uniforms but acknowledges that Mio is far prettier. Arashiko begins to her check-up on Tarou, but her nursing hat falls off to the floor. Tarou and Arashiko go to pick it up simultaneously and they touch hands. This sets off Arashiko’s Androphobia and she punches Tarou. Tarou then gets beaten up by Arashiko, with Mio watching stating that they have fail to cure Tarou. Tarou in his masochist state, then jumps Arashiko, but is stopped by Mio, who whacks him with a stick and sends him crashing through the roof and away.

They are stuffed

Tarou comes back home, with his mother and sister trying to help him to take a bath by undressing themselves. He tells them to get out, which they flee to the kitchen. However they were able to steal Tarou’s phone and find a message from Arashiko, apologising for beating him up before. Arashiko is undressing when she receives a message from Tarou. She reads the message and is shocked in not knowing what to do. Meanwhile the Sado women have planned something sinister for Tarou and have evil smiles on their faces sitting at the dinner table.

I'm sorry your family is blind

The next day, Tarou is watching TV when the doorbell goes. He answers the door to Arashiko and he shocked to see her. Just then his mother and sister greet Arashiko politely. Tarou is shocked and wonders what is going on as they seem too polite to Arashiko. He is also scared that they might find out about Arashiko’s condition; her Androphobia. Tarou helps out in the kitchen while Arashiko sits at the dinner table feeling nervous. She offers to help out but Tarou tells her it is fine as she is their guest. She watches on as Tarou gets along fine with both his mum and sister, which brings a smile to her face.

I'll just fill the fish tank from here

They sit down to dinner; Arashiko begins eating and comments on how delicious the food is. Tarou is still suspicious about his sister and mum as they would have gotten rid of Arashiko and kicked her out of the house, but they seemed to be getting along fine with her. Tarou’s mother then asks Arashiko what kind of relationship she has with Tarou. She tells her that they are both in the same class as well as the same club and also they walk home from school together. Tarou’s mother asks her if they are dating but Arashiko tells them no as she turns bright red. Tarou still suspects his family but also thinks that they have become a normal family for once and he cries tears of joy.

The ceiling is a bit gay

After the meal, the Sado females have fail in their plan and decide to put phase three into action. Tarou carries a tea set up, still crying in awe of his family’s change of personality, with Arashiko, following from behind; blushing. They both enter Tarou’s room and Arashiko is shocked to find Tarou’s room in a mess. She tells him that although she is not good at cooking, but she is good at cleaning. She then notices a lot of muscular men posters on Tarou’s ceiling and asks if Tarou has an interested in that. Tarou strongly denies having an interest in that sort of thing. Suddenly, his wardrobe door opens and a huge pile of gym kits fall out. Arashiko asks Tarou again about the kits. He also denies it and also states that he does not remember collecting them in the first place.

He is going to boil over

After tidying the room, they both set down to have some tea but it has gone cold. Tarou offers to make some more but Arashiko is ok with it. Outside the Sado females eavesdrop on the conversation. Tarou apologies for what has happened. He also feels sorry for Arashiko feeling unpleasant being alone with a guy. She tells him that she is ok and that she was a little frightened but since it is him, she is fine. Since phase three was not working, the Sado females burst into the room and immediately show photos of Tarou when he was younger. An argument between the Sado women ensues over Tarou, leaving Tarou very embarrassed and Arashiko smiling.

Nice catch

Outside the house, Tarou and Arashiko talk. Tarou apologises again for the weirdness of today. Arashiko tells him that she could tell that his home and family have a lovely atmosphere (something that Arashiko misses as she has divorced parents). She tells him her secret that she wants to have a family. She makes him promise not to tell anyone and she leaves. Tarou turns around to see the Sado women crying their eyes out and feeling guilty over their plan. Tarou notices a piece of paper on the ground in front of them and picks it up. He reads it and discovers their plans to save Tarou from Arashiko. He gets angry and chases them but they are caught by Michiru who asks Tarou if they are family members and is it ok for her to do a photo shoot with them. He tells her, she can feel free to do whatever she wants with them. Michiru thanks Tarou for being an amazing person right now as the Sado women scream in fear. After the ED Theme, Tarou wakes up to find his mother in bed with him dressed in schoolgirl uniform from his school. His sister also dressed in the uniform bursts into the room. They tell him that they want to find more information about Mio Isurugi, so they are coming to school with him but first they want a morning kiss which Tarou then screams.

Not a bad episode; seems that Arashiko’s condition is slowly going away, but I think it is due to being friends to Tarou and they have been close. Tarou’s family is so weird (and disgusting in my opinion). A bad idea in my view, but it does add to the humour in this anime, as long as they don’t do too much. I also must apologise for being so far behind blogging this and the others but I trying get there. Hopefully I will be up to date by next week, with a few other blogs added to the mix.
