The sneak attack succeeds and the time has come to escape

Khamshin reaches the Divine Gate and starts his attack, but Fecor’s magnesia acts as a shield and no attacks get through. Fecor orders Puruson to command the frontlines and Uvall to find out how they got in. Reinforcements will arrive the next day so they must hold out.

Shana gets ready as the chance she’s waited for is now here. 2 Rinne come to pick Shana up and head to the lower levels for safety.

Khamshin and Rebecca continue to attack although it seems trying to beat magnesia is impossible.

Elsewhere Wilhelmina moves quietly from deep within.

It seems tendou-kyu was the way they used to enter seireiden as the two places were previously connected and will connect if brought close together.

As the two Rinne lead Shana away, she walks slowly waiting for something big to happen. And right at that time the ceiling caves in from an attack by Khamshin, crushing the two Rinne.

Finally a sign of resistance from Bal Masque appears in the form of a half lion half human. His name is Puruson. He manages to gain the upper hand through a contraption made by Dantalion and harms Khamsian. With him down, Rebecca rips off the bracelet declaring the gloves are off.

Although the collapse of the ceiling killed the Rinne it has also injured Shana and she’s unable to get up. She tells herself to move and slowly struggles up. As a half dead Rinne grabs her feet she freaks out and repeatedly stabs at it until its dead. She then calls out to her sword. Who hears her as it lights up and Tenmoku Ikko appears.

As Fecor finally figures out how the flame haze could have got in, he is attacked by Tenmoku Ikko and raises magnesia to defend himself meaning the magnesia outside defending the Divine Gate weakens.

Shana meets Tenmoku Ikko who cuts off her chain and returns her sword. With her powers returning, the Flame–Haired Blazing-Eyed Hunter is back.

Thoughts:

Yep, concentrating on the rescue/sneak attack mission. I thought it’d be Wilhelmina that reaches Shana and they get her sword back, but Tenmoku Ikko appearing is fun as well. I didn’t expected Shana to go mental though, stabbing that Rinne like a maniac… think she must’ve seen her end and got a little too desperate, though I must say, I kinda like her crazy side makes her seem less human, which she is…

So now that the Divine Gate has broke, how’s Yuji gonna get back? After all this preparation to protect the seirenden so he can return, 2 sneak attack flame haze got in and destroyed it so easily, and ironically it was thanks to Shana with Tenmoku Ikko who wants Yuji back the most. Well, I wonder if that’s why Yuji appeared as he did in the first episode then, as in he didn’t get Snake’s body and had to head back early to counter the sneak attack, so Snake was still inhabiting him at that time. Well I won’t pretend to know the mechanics of the Divine Gate, so maybe one attack wasn’t enough to break it completely. And with Shana back, maybe she’ll tell Khamshin and Rebecca what the gate is and they try to chase down Yuji and the trinity? Sounds like a suicide mission, but who knows.

The real world battle seems pretty stable for now anyway, don’t think we’ll be seeing much of that until it nears its end.

Well anyway, first things first, Puruson is still blocking their way, so I assume there’ll be a fight against him first. Shouldn’t be a problem especially when it’ll soon gonna be 4vs1. But Puruson’s roar seems pretty strong to be able to knock Khamshin down so easily. So I hope it’ll be a good fight to watch. Uvall and Fecor are the other two that could pose a threat to the sneak attack, though it’s pretty much successful now. I doubt Decarabia will come out of his ‘command centre’, he doesn’t seem to have any fighting ability anyway.

Anyway then, Shana rises again, I’m looking forward to her back to her usual self and fighting stronger than before. Also we haven’t even heard that renowned catchphrase ‘urusai urusai urusai’ yet have we? I’m still waiting.
