Key Events

After sinking into the lake, heroine opens her eyes and finds herself in front of her house. The date is August the 1st again and she’s called out by Kento to talk. It seems that the two are dating and she realises she’s in another world again.

She apparently wanted to spend time with Kento and so she joins him at work but the two doesn’t talk much.

They planned to go to a festival together but Kento makes her wait as he forgot because it was something he had no interest in. At the festival Kento talks about the promise that the heroine remembers from the first episode, a promise to come to the festival since they started going out.

Another day, heroine visits Kento at work where he tells her he’s figured out she’s missing memories. Orion appears again and decides it’s okay to tell him everything including about himself.

Kento believes everything and interacts with Orion to find out that heroine’s been moving through parallel universes. But Orion vanishes before more questions could be asked. Kento tells heroine of their time before they started dating of how they’d always argue as he’s the inconsiderate upfront type who wouldn’t consider other people’s feelings. But because of her he’s started to change.

As they walk home someone knocks into heroine and she goes to another world, this time it’s with Toma.

Thoughts

For once Orion actually appears and manages to help the heroine out properly, but she’s already  changed worlds pretty much negating all of that help to clear things up with Kento. Might be just me, but I’ve noticed a trend that whenever Orion makes somewhat of an appearance the heroine’s always not too far from changing worlds. It’s not unusual to think that the two are related, so I wonder what would be the relation, if any. Either that or it’s back to my earlier theory of her changing worlds whenever she dies. So in this episode perhaps the person knocks her down and then a truck comes along.

Don’t like Kento that much, wonder why the heroine got together with him. I’m thinking it’s because she thinks she can change him. They were probably good friends beforehand, although we didn’t get any back-story so can’t say anything from that. However I would find it hard to believe that they started going out without a long friendship beforehand. Though that might be just me as I find it difficult to talk to people who are inconsiderate and dense. But if the person’s a good friend for a while then I’ll probably try to help them, like what the heroine is doing.

And that’s pretty much all I have to say about this episode seeing as we only saw Kento and that’s my opinion on him. Shame really, I was getting into Ikki’s story, now I won’t know more about why she joined his fanclub… I find that it’s becoming a weakness of this series as you don’t really get into anyone’s story, and I like getting dragged into someone’s story, the sudden change can be refreshing at times, but only when you’ve already delved deep into a story that it’s time for a change. I don’t feel like I got into Kento’s story at all and I’m a little disappointed in that. I suppose I can still view this anime more of a mystery. So hopefully everything will be cleared up neatly soon.

Some other smaller things I want to comment on was she wasn’t wearing matching shoes. Trivial I know, but funny. I don’t know if that’s a fashion statement, maybe I’ve been out of fashion for too long, but I certainly don’t remember none matching shoes being popular. However this series is quite ‘flashy’ so maybe they’re trying to make a point, in an odd way…

Oh I did forget to mention that we got the summary of what’s happening to the heroine, so at least that was cleared by Orion finally. We know what’s going on now, and so hopefully she won’t be so airheaded in the next arc with Toma and ‘blow her cover’.
