Erika accidently promises to go on a date with a customer if he wins at a sweet eating event that’s to be held at Maid Latte. Misaki tells her not to worry as she’ll enter and make sure that guy loses.

On the day, Erika dresses Misaki up in some visual kei disguise to enter. The idiot trio and Shintani are entering too.

The competition kicks off, with all the food made by Usui. The idiot trio lose pretty badly with Kurotatsu going out first. And because he had leftovers he gets a powerful poke in the head by Subaru which makes him whine in pain. She then tells the other two not to waste food and they instantly finishes their leftovers and forfeit.

It comes down to the last two, Shintani and Misaki. The prizes are handmade cookies, special offer coupons and a photo with a maid of your choice. To be able to win they need to finish the dessert, and obviously Misaki couldn’t eat anymore especially when Usui makes a whole cake, so the prizes go to Shintani. He wants a photo with Misaki because it’s the same name of the girl he likes. And it seems that everyone in the restaurant knew about Misaki entering as she stood out too much.

Misaki leaves and finds a park bench to rest on. She’s then greeted by Usui and here we go with the lovey dovey stuff.

Next day at school Shintani asks if Misaki knows about Maid Latte, she denies everything, but then Shintani invites her to eat there as he has coupons. She agrees to go and comes up with a plan. Which is go to maid latte with him, leave after a short time, put on a disguise and greet Shintani as Misaki the maid, take photo with Shintani, mission complete. So on the day, Misaki, Shintani, and Usui who tags along, go to Maid Latte.

"This message will self-destruct in 5..."

Ashirogi get a call from Hattori. They answer. They beat +Natural. Go them. Hattori says its too bad, as they missed Crow by 2 votes, and Mashiro asks if they won’t get cancelled now. Hattori replies that they definitely won’t. Sasaki, the Editor-In-Chief, then walks over to Hattori and asks to speak to Ashirogi. He says he has said some rude things about PCP, like ‘it will never beat Eiji Niizuma’, but he was wrong, and PCP will not be cancelled. He then says that Ashirogi, Hattori and even Miura did a good job in doing it. He then asks them to continue to help Jump with PCP, then hands the phone back to Hattori. Takagi then asks Hattori how much they beat +Natural by, and Hattori says Natural was in 6th. Hattori then lists the results: PCP was in 4th, then Seigi no Mikata with around 30 votes less in 5th, then +Natural with another 11 votes less in 6th, then Road Racer Giri with a mere 5 votes less in 7th. Hattori tells them that having Crow in +Natural all the time seems to have backfired. He says it’ll go back up, but PCP won’t have to worry about being cancelled anymore, but they still want to look for complacency. They hang up, and Takagi and Mashiro go inside, discussing the results, and how Fukuda and Takahama did so well. Takagi says that with PCP, and anime version could be just within reach. At Takahama’s studio, he goes to leave to watch another trial, and tells his assistants that they got 5th place, which excites them. As he leaves, he says that there are still 4 works above him, and he thinks to himself that he must first pass Ashirogi. At Fukuda’s, he and his assistants are working overtime because they didn’t get in the top 5, and Fukuda swears he won’t lose to Ashirogi or Niizuma.
