K-ON!! Live Concert – Come with Me!! (Part 1)

Yes it is the second coming…. of K-ON!! The Live Concert ~Come with Me~ at the Saitama Super Arena on 20^th February 2011 and my surprise blog. I got this on Blu-ray (Limited Edition) and it took me a while to watch considering how long it is. After an extended second season of K-ON!! They released several new songs, with 2 Opening and Ending themes. They also released a new set of character image songs with their own version of “Come with Me”; the title of the concert, which they will probably sing it altogether. So, like the last concert, they sing them here. Enough SOTWs, Ops and EDs, let’s have some good rocking music. So like the last concert, Let’s GO!

(N.B. My favourite catchphrase to go with the pictures is #4; after the 2^nd song.)

K-ON! Let’s Go! Live Concert

(I have re-written this as I wasn’t happy with the last review, plus there were missing bits such as the speaking parts; those are in now…) Okay guys it’s the big one! The K-ON! Live concert; held in the Yokohama Arena on the 30/12/2009, now on DVD and Blu-Ray. You are probably asking should I watch this, of course, its K-ON! The live action. The Sakura high school decorates the background, with a huge green turtle & pink rabbit. Here I will list the songs that are featured in the concert. Here goes: 

Cagayake! GIRLS!

Cagayake! GIRLS – The count begins from ten, then bang into this song. Of course have to play this at the beginning; it’s the anime opening theme. This was really good and what a way to introduce yourselves and especially I like their jackets.

Mio is cornered in the storeroom by Ritsu, Ritsu wants draw on Mio’s eyelids. Meanwhile Yui and Mugi are talking to Azusa when Azusa notices something about Yui and Mugi’s eyes. They both dismiss anything wrong and are forced to glance away from Azusa as they were trying not to blink. Ritsu and Mio finally join them having a group (family) photograph with Mugi holding a baby doll, as the picture was taken, everyone except Azusa had shut their eyes, having drawn eyes on their eyelids with a marker. It turns that the picture was marking the day when Azusa joined the club (Also it’s the picture on the K-ON! Volume 5 DVD/Blu-Ray) and now she is looking at the photo all alone in the club room.

Episode 25: Project Meeting!

Azusa is viewing the recruitment video that the Light Music Club made before Azusa joined. The contents of the video are somewhat not relevant, featuring the girls dressing up their instruments and Mio wearing a nursing uniform (Background music sounds like the “Peter Gunn Theme”).  Later, it turns out that Azusa found the video hidden inside a cookie jar in the club room, in which Mio had purposely sealed it inside as she found it embarrassing. The girls remember making the video and reflect on when they made it. It is then suggested that they make a new recruitment video, cueing to Sawako who brings the camcorder. Sawako immediately puts cat’s ears on Azusa and films her saying welcome with a “meow” at the end, which annoys Azusa saying that they should take it seriously.
