With Yuki gone, everyone regroups inside and get patched up. Takashiro is also informed of the events and he finally comes out. He says he will locate Reiga and they will all go to rescue Yuki.

At Reiga’s castle, Yuki is held captive. He asks if it’s because that Kanata’s still in Reiga that he’s keeping Yuki alive. Reiga doesn’t give a straight answer, and then insults the human race on how disgusting they are. Yuki obviously defends the human race saying there are nice people too.

Back at the mansion Takashiro faints after locating Reiga. He then tells everyone to move there immediately.

Reiga senses their arrival and claims they’re now in his territory.

Tweedledee comes out first to greet everyone. Hotsuma and Shusei stay to fight him.

As they head inside they meet Elegy. Toko and Tsukumo face her.

Next up is Cadenza and it’s Kuroto and Senshiro’s turn.

Lastly, Luka makes it to the final room where Yuki’s held and meets Reiga. Their battle begins. Reiga summons out Vouivre and Luka transforms Sodom into the huge dragon, Salamander, at last. It was a quick fight as on the verge of defeat, Sodom turns completely into fire and burns Vouivre to a crisp. As the two continue to chant spells against each other it seems the battle is even, until Reiga summons a wall that reflects an attack back at Luka severely damaging him. However the hand Reiga used to summon the wall also takes severe damage.

Even in Reiga’s barrier Luka is still this strong, so Reiga wants to kill him here and now. But Yuki shouts for him to stop. Reiga turns to Yuki and tries to kill him, but before he could bring himself to do it, past memories of their times together fills his mind. He shakes them away and attacks. As always, someone comes to the rescue, but it’s not who you expect. It’s a new character, his name is Luze, Luka’s brother. He asks that isn’t Yuki important in their plan. Reiga doesn’t answer so Luze turns to Luka. A stare down and the episode ends.

A character introduction this late in the series? Now this interests me a lot. So he’s Luka’s brother? Makes it all the more interesting. Maybe Reiga’s army isn’t as small as I thought, there are others who just doesn’t show themselves yet. So does that mean that Luka was originally with Reiga’s side, I thought he was just part of a random clan then decided to elope sorta thing? So come on, Luka and Yuki’s past life information please!

Takashiro’s out of bed at last, so he’ll be joining the battle soon I believe, and I also think he’ll most likely die by the end of the fight too. To end it for one thing and he’s not exactly in the best of shape. I’m sure he’ll come just in the nick of time to save someone, probably, or make a cool entrance.

Just a random thought. When Yuki was held in that crystal like thing, did anyone else think he looked like one of those collectible figurines with very good protective casing? Or is it just me having weird thoughts again?

Anyway, I notice how a lot of animes these days are addressing environmental issues and the end of the world through their villains. It’s always the same human’s are disgusting, human’s are careless, blah blah blah. I do like that they’re trying to make a point but it’s always the protagonist who wins and disregards what the villains say though, I’d like for a good message to stay.

Huh, Tweedledee looked like he was having withdrawal symptoms when he was waiting for the enemy. That blood he was fed must’ve been some good stuff…

So, the episode, seemed like the short clips for each fight were filling up the time and setting up the matchups for the next few episodes I assume. This should mean that it’ll be fight after fight, which means I can finally enjoy the show again. I actually started enjoying it this episode, finally got to see Sodom turn into that huge dragon, was a good fight, too bad he was knocked out.

So, I’m definitely looking forward to the next episode then. More action please! And of course, background info too is needed. A dash to the finish perhaps?
