Obviously, Kenpachi and Byakuya come out of the cero unscathed. As the two opposing personalities collide they soon try to face each other. But that’s when Yammy tries to attack. Though he is brushed aside by Kenpachi and Byakuya’s combined attacks. However, he gets back up and grows even bigger. He explains that anger is what makes him grow and attacks again.

Back in fake Karakura, Shuhei and Komamura face Tousen. A pretty even match, even though it’s two vs. one.

In the main fight, Shinji leaves Hiyori to Hachi and goes to face Aizen. Aizen then makes a speech about how everyone is always looking for someone superior to trust and rely on, and that’s how God was born.

Tousen’s fight again, and since Aizen’s on the front lines now, Tousen feels the need to release his full power, hollowfication. He makes a few quick attacks and easily knocks down Komamura and Shuhei. Shuhei manages to get back up and pin Tousen down with a surprise attack, but Tousen ruthlessly stabs him and pushes him off a building. Enraged, Komamura releases Bankai.

I wonder why Yammy isn’t green. He resembles the hulk enough now anyway, with the personality and size. I can see that his fight won’t be finished soon.

This is for the manga readers only. I wonder if Kubo will ever go back onto the Yammy fight, he’s progressing with the main storyline which is good even if it’s becoming very unbelievable, but he’s still left Yammy’s fight unfinished. I reckon he’ll probably go back when he runs out of ideas for the main story or go back to annoy us when it gets to a really good cliff-hanger. Either way, I kinda want to see the Byakuya and Kenpachi team again.

I was hoping they’d start Shinji vs. Aizen this episode, but, they’re dragging it on as always. Probably finish Tousen’s fight then start Aizens. Or do the thing they like so much, switching of battle scenes and do a little Tousen then a little Aizen. That would annoy me.

Although the flashbacks of Tousen were dragging the episode out a bit, I kinda liked them. Gotta make him seem humane somehow, even if it’s to remind us of who he once was… or wasn’t… What Komamura said was true though, that Ichigo didn’t choose Hollowfication, rather it was he didn’t have much of a choice and he needed the power. If Tousen was on the good side fighting Aizen with hollowfication I wonder what Komamura would say, or maybe Tousen just wouldn’t hollowify. Also, Tousen’s hair was rather crazy back in the day.

Not going back to Hueco Mundo anymore it seems. Straight into Aizen vs. everyone after Tousen’s fight then I hope. Should finish next episode, if not Aizen’s fight will most likely start episode after.
