A short flashback of the good old days of Yuki and Kanata back in the orphanage, before we are back in the present again.

Kanata, or rather, Giou Reiga commands Cadenza to retreat, and when he refuses Reiga summons out chains to constrain him. Summoner’s bonds they’re called, which burns the Duras who disobeys its master.

After hearing Yuki’s gone, Hotsuma and Shusei, who just arrived at the residence, rush off again to where they sensed powers clashing.

Back at the fight, Cadenza knows that Reiga is in control of two general classes, so his power’s divided, meaning he’s strong enough to break free of the chains. So Cadenza summons his power and shatters the chains. He then immediately attacks Yuki but is intercepted by Reiga. A short fight breaks out with neither Cadenza nor Reiga having the edge.

Reiga then tries to send Cadenza back to the Infernus but Cadenza attacks before he could finish the spell. Now Cadenza seems to have the edge as he goes for a finishing blow. However, a third great power, Luka joins the fray and intervenes Cadenza’s attack. Luka enters a stare off and lets his powers grow to its capacity, which is so great that even the birds flee from the scene.

Toko and Tsukumo arrive and they, Yuki, Senshiro and Kuroto are about to leave before Cadenza’s impatient nature results in him sending an attack at them. Luka quickly moves to block but it was turned to ice by Reiga before it reached. After seeing Reiga protect them, Yuki refuses to leave and asks Reiga why he protected him.

Reiga waves it off and says that it’s all part of his plan. As time drags on Hotsuma and Shusei arrive as well. And the three way standoff continues.

That episode seemed to drag on a bit too. Not much happened as usual, the fight started and it seemed like it was near an ending but nope, didn’t get there, probably not even near now that there are more people coming in and the gang is all there now.

So apparently Cadenza’s stronger than Reiga at the moment because he’s trying to control two general class at the same time. Why would he do that in the first place then? Anyone can tell Cadenza’s not the type to stay obedient and loyal, he seems like a wild animal that’ll, well… go wild… I’m still rather lost, I mean Reiga certainly doesn’t follow the typical big enemy boss description where it’s usually they’re so powerful that it’s not until the last fight when they are overpowered or beaten. He just seems to get overpowered so easily, even by his own people.

Aside from that why does he keep protecting Yuki? What’s he fighting for? As Cadenza says, Yuki needs to die for them to win so what’s with the hold up again? What is this grand plan he has? His plan’s gonna get him killed if he’s not careful. I really want to know it now, surprisingly they’ve made me want to watch more, but not in a good way.

I did however like some parts of the episode, namely Luka’s heroic entrance. Though I do say it could’ve been made better if it was him on a dragon or something, but oh well it’ll do.

I’m not quite sure if Senshiro and Kuroto are brave, or fools. I mean they wanted to fight? In their condition? Live to fight another day, revenge will end there if they’re killed. But I guess I can understand their position, anger can take over you like being possessed or something.

Okay then, maybe a big plan unveiling next week? Or maybe now that everyone’s gathered and it’s nearing the end it’s time for war!? One can hope. More action!
