K-ON!! – Episode 21

You’re not Yui…

Yes?

Careful, careful, whoops…

Mirror mirror on the wall. Who cut my hair? Damn you all!

Are they trying not to laugh?

Who’s the old granny?

So the yearbook is due soon and everyone needs an individual picture which is why Yui spends all morning trying to pick out a hair style.

As Azusa looks out to the sports field, she sees no one there and remembers that all sport club seniors have stopped everything. So she then rushes to the music room and is relieved to see the gang all there. With a short unconstructive chat about future careers Yui brings out a fashion magazine and talks about hair styles, again.

Next day, Ritsu brings a digital camera in and they start seeing how new hair styles look. Thinking her fringe is too long Yui decides to get it cut, herself. She accidently sneezes and cuts off her entire fringe…

The photo shoot goes as planned and Yui looks fine even without her fringe. Afterwards we find out that Mio declines the recommended exam for her to go to university as she wants to study with everyone else. In the end Mio, Ritsu and Yui hand in their career choice sheets and it seems they’re all planning to go to the same college. Sawa-chan accepts that with a smile.

So most of the episode is on hair styles and as usual that was just for fun and nothing actually happened. No hair styles changed after all that, it was a slip of the scissors that gave Yui a new style. And also, I don’t believe for a second that anyone would decide to go to the same university/college as their friends instead of a much better one. Separating from your friends and making new ones in the next stage of your education is vital, you can’t be with your friends forever. And the sooner you have a variety of friends the better.

Anyway, another non eventful episode goes by, my eyes are killing me and I really can’t think of anything to say, so I’ll just say bye bye for now.
